Payout Networks: ERC-20 and TRC-20
How Trade Reclaim pays USDT cashback on ERC-20 (Ethereum) and TRC-20 (Tron), and how to pick the right payout network for your wallet.
Trade Reclaim pays your USDT cashback on one of two networks: ERC-20 (Ethereum) or TRC-20 (Tron). You choose the payout network when you set your wallet address, and it must match a network your wallet actually supports, or the funds can be lost.
What ERC-20 and TRC-20 mean
USDT is the same stablecoin on both, but it lives on different blockchains. ERC-20 is USDT issued on the Ethereum network. TRC-20 is USDT issued on the Tron network. A TRC-20 address and an ERC-20 address are different formats, and an exchange or wallet only credits an incoming transfer if it is watching the matching network.
Why the network has to match your address
When you request a payout, Trade Reclaim sends USDT to the exact address you saved in account settings, on the network tied to that address. If you provide an address for the wrong network, the transfer goes onto a chain your wallet is not monitoring and the cashback may be unrecoverable.
Note: Always confirm with your receiving wallet or exchange which network an address belongs to before you save it. A TRC-20 address is not interchangeable with an ERC-20 address.
How to choose your payout network
- Check what your wallet supports. Open your receiving wallet or exchange deposit screen and look at which USDT networks it accepts. Pick one that appears there.
- Copy the deposit address for that exact network. If you chose TRC-20, copy the TRC-20 USDT deposit address; if ERC-20, copy the ERC-20 one.
- Save it in Trade Reclaim. Go to account settings and set the payout wallet address for USDT. The address must be valid for that asset and network.
- Request the payout. Once your balance is at least 20 USDT, use the Request Payout button on your dashboard.
ERC-20 vs TRC-20: which is better
The main practical difference is network cost. Ethereum (ERC-20) transfers can carry higher on-chain fees during busy periods, while Tron (TRC-20) transfers are usually cheaper. The right pick is simply the network your wallet supports. If your wallet handles both, TRC-20 is the common low-cost choice, but either works as long as the address matches.
One more payout detail
ERC-20 and TRC-20 cover USDT payouts. For inverse or coin-margined contracts (for example BTCUSD), cashback may instead be paid in BTC or ETH, the currency Trade Reclaim received the commission in, and that portion cannot be converted to USDT. Payouts are processed within 48 hours, and only one payout request can be pending at a time.
FAQ
What happens if I send to the wrong network?
A network mismatch can lose the funds. The USDT lands on a chain your wallet is not watching, so it may not show up and may not be recoverable. Double-check the network before saving your address.
Can I receive my cashback on both networks?
You set one payout wallet address per asset. Choose the single network your wallet supports for USDT and save that address in account settings.
Is the cashback always paid in USDT?
USDT cashback is paid on ERC-20 or TRC-20. The exception is inverse or coin-margined contracts, where cashback may be paid in BTC or ETH instead and cannot be converted to USDT.
