The Setup Wizard Is Not Working
How to fix the Trade Reclaim setup wizard when it gets stuck, including skipped KYC steps, UID verification delays, and browser cache fixes.
If the Trade Reclaim setup wizard is stuck, it is almost always one of three things: a required exchange step (often a KYC or account-transfer step) was skipped, your UID is still verifying, or your browser is caching an old version of the page. Each has a quick fix below.
1. A required exchange step was skipped
The most common reason the wizard gets stuck is that a step on the exchange side was not completed. Some exchanges require you to finish KYC, or to move your account to a specific affiliate or sub-account, before they will report your trading volume. If you skip it, the wizard cannot confirm the connection.
- Reopen the setup wizard and select your exchange.
- Follow the exact per-exchange path it shows, in order, without skipping any step.
- If a KYC or transfer step is listed, complete it fully on the exchange before returning to the wizard.
- Use the link or code shown inside the wizard during signup so your account is tagged to Trade Reclaim.
Note: If you created the exchange account some other way, not through the Trade Reclaim link, your trades will not be tagged to the affiliate and the wizard cannot connect it. In that case you may need a fresh account created through the link.
2. Your UID is still verifying
After you enter your public Exchange UID, verification can take up to 48 hours. During this time the wizard may appear stuck or show your account as not yet verified. This is normal and needs no action.
- Double-check that you entered your correct public UID, with no extra spaces.
- Close the wizard and check Connected Accounts in your dashboard for verification status.
- Wait for verification to complete, then return. Cashback accrues from your next trade once verified.
3. A browser or cache issue
Sometimes the wizard is fine on the server but your browser is showing a stale version. If buttons do not respond or the page will not advance, clear your cache.
- Hard-refresh the page (or clear your browser cache and cookies for trade-reclaim.com).
- Try a different browser, or an incognito/private window.
- Disable extensions or ad-blockers that may interfere, then reload the wizard.
Still cant connect your exchange?
If you have completed every exchange step, waited out verification, and cleared your cache, contact support@trade-reclaim.com. Tell them which exchange you are linking and your public UID so the team can check the verification status for you.

How long should the wizard take?
Linking takes around 60 seconds per exchange, or 2-3 minutes if you also create a new account. UID verification afterward can take up to 48 hours before your account shows as connected.
Why does the wizard say my account is not verified?
Your UID is likely still verifying. Wait up to 48 hours and check Connected Accounts in your dashboard. If it stays unverified beyond that, confirm the UID is correct and contact support.
Do I need to finish KYC to use the wizard?
Trade Reclaim itself needs no KYC, only an email and your UID. However, some exchanges require their own KYC before they report volume, so a skipped exchange KYC step can stall the wizard.
