How Trade Reclaim Keeps You Safe

How Trade Reclaim's non-custodial model, minimal data collection, encryption and GDPR compliance keep your funds and account structurally safe.

Trade Reclaim is non-custodial: it never holds your funds and never touches your account. The only thing it sees is your public Exchange UID, which is why your money stays safe by design, not just by promise.

The non-custodial model in plain terms

When you set up cashback, you link a single piece of information: your public Exchange UID. That is the same ID number the exchange shows on your own profile. Trade Reclaim uses it to match your trading volume to its affiliate account so the exchange can report your fees and pay a commission, of which you get 30-50% back as USDT.

Here is what Trade Reclaim does not have:

  • No API keys. It never connects to your account through an API.
  • No password. Your exchange login is never shared.
  • No withdrawal access. It cannot move, transfer or withdraw a single dollar.
  • No view of your account. It cannot see your balances, positions or withdrawals.

The exchange keeps 100% control of your account at all times. Your UID is public information by design, so sharing it exposes nothing sensitive.

Why this is structurally safe, not just a promise

"Trust us" is not security. The reason Trade Reclaim cannot misuse your account is that it never holds the means to. With no keys, no password and no withdrawal permission, there is simply no mechanism for it to touch your funds, even in the worst case. The architecture removes the risk rather than asking you to trust that it won't be abused.

Note: If anyone ever asks for your exchange password, 2FA codes or API keys in the name of cashback, it is not Trade Reclaim. We only ever need your email and your public UID.

Minimal data, encryption and GDPR

Trade Reclaim itself requires no KYC; you sign up with just an email and your UID. (Your individual exchange may still require KYC on its side.) The platform collects only what it needs to pay you: your email, the public UID(s) you link, the affiliate-reported trading volume, plus basic technical and support data.

That data is encrypted in transit and at rest, the service is GDPR-compliant, and everything is deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Less data collected means less that can ever be exposed.

FAQ

Can Trade Reclaim withdraw my money?

No. It has no API keys, no password and no withdrawal access. It cannot move funds, place trades or even see your balance. The exchange keeps full control of your account.

Is it safe to share my UID?

Yes. Your UID is public account information, not a secret. It only lets the exchange attribute your trading volume to Trade Reclaim's affiliate account so you can earn cashback. It grants no access to your funds.

Does Trade Reclaim need my KYC details?

No. Trade Reclaim needs only your email and public UID. KYC, if required, happens on the exchange's side, not with us.
