Connected Accounts and Their Status

How the Connected Accounts area shows each linked exchange UID, its verification status, and how to add or fix an account.

The Connected Accounts area of your Trade Reclaim dashboard lists every exchange UID you have linked, together with its verification status. This is where you confirm an account is active and earning cashback, add a new exchange, or fix one that is not reporting trades.

What Connected Accounts shows

Each row represents one linked exchange and the public Exchange UID you entered for it. Trade Reclaim only ever stores that public UID. It never has your API keys, password or withdrawal access, so it cannot see your balances or positions and cannot move funds. The exchange keeps full control of your account and reports only that UID's trading volume to Trade Reclaim's affiliate account.

The account statuses

Verifying: Trade Reclaim is confirming that the UID is correctly tagged to its affiliate account at the exchange. This can take up to 48 hours.
Verified / Active: the link is confirmed. Cashback starts accruing from your next trade and is credited per trade, typically within 48 hours.

Note: a verified account does not pay cashback on trades you placed before linking. Earnings begin with your next trade once the status shows verified.

How to add an account

Open the setup wizard and choose your exchange.
If you do not yet have an account there, create one using the link or code shown in the wizard so your trades are tagged to the affiliate.
Copy your public Exchange UID from your exchange profile.
Paste the UID into the wizard and submit. The new account appears in Connected Accounts with a verifying status.

Linking takes about 60 seconds per exchange, or 2-3 minutes if you also create a new account.

How to fix an account

If a connected account is not showing cashback, check the status first. Common causes and fixes:

Still verifying: wait out the 48-hour window before troubleshooting.
No trades detected: the exchange account was not created through the Trade Reclaim link, so its volume is not tagged to the affiliate. You may need to use a fresh account opened via the wizard link.
Wizard stuck: a required exchange KYC step was skipped, or the UID is still verifying. Complete any pending KYC at the exchange and re-check.
Wrong UID: confirm you copied the public UID exactly, then re-link through the wizard.

Can I link more than one exchange?

Yes. You can connect a UID for each supported exchange, and every one appears as its own row in Connected Accounts with its own status.

Why does my account say verifying for so long?

Verification can take up to 48 hours while the exchange confirms the UID against Trade Reclaim's affiliate account. If it is still verifying after that, reach out to support.

Does Trade Reclaim get access to my exchange account?

No. It only holds your public UID, with no API keys, password or withdrawal access, so it cannot view balances or move funds.
